ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMS!

FOR KIDS 2023

READ TO CADENCE in 2023! Megan Marshall, a volunteer, from Bright Spot Reading Buddies, will be offering her services again by bringing, Cadence, her dog, to the library to have children read to them. Kids ages 5 and up, will be able to sign up for a 10 minute slot to read to her friendly, furry, companion. Kids are asked to bring a picture book to read. This program is designed to help kids gain confidence and reduce anxiety about reading. Dates for 2023 are on Tuesdays:  Feb. 7, Mar. 7, Apr.  4, & May 2 and 10 minute slots run from 3:30-4:30. CALL OR STOP IN TO SIGN UP!

SATURDAY CRAFTERNOON! January 14 and February 11.
Kids grades K-5 can drop in for our special craft with Ms. Rachel, Assistant Children's Librarian. Come in the Brooks Room between 10:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. for a fun craft! These crafts only take 15-20 minutes to complete and we will have coloring pages for pre-schoolers. No registration is required. 

TAKE AND MAKES -Available throughout the winter months, as supplies last in the Children’s Dept.!!!
