MASS TEEN CHOICE BOOK AWARD 2026

The Massachusetts' Teen Choice Book Award is the only award in the Bay State that invites students in grades 7-12 to select their top new books of the year!

The list of nominees has been curated by a committee of public librarians, school library media specialists and educators. Teens are invited to read the titles starting during the summer and vote for their favorite books in September! 

In our Teen Loft at the Wilbraham Public Library, we currently have a book display of these 21 titles. Read the books and vote in September!

November: A book that came out the year you were born
December: A book about mythology from any culture
January: A book about exploring
February: A book written in verse or a book of poems
March: A book about exploring identity
April: A book set in another world
May: A book by a Massachusetts author
